Tee Off for Education at the June 22 Elmbrook Open Golf Outing!
Second annual event features more golfers, contests and prizes to benefit Elmbrook Education Foundation

Brookfield, Wis. – Golfers are invited to tee off for a bright local educational future June 22 at the second annual Elmbrook Open Golf Outing at Ironwood Golf Course.
The day on the links benefits the Elmbrook Education Foundation, which funds scholarships and innovative educational programs in the Elmbrook School District. Shotgun start is at 10:30 a.m. at Ironwood Golf Course, W270-N6166 Moraine Drive, Sussex.
Grounds Maintenance Services is an event sponsor. GMS owner Todd Ruedt, an Elmbrook schools graduate, is Vice-President of the Elmbrook Education Foundation.

“After the success of last year’s inaugural outing, everyone in the Elmbrook Education Foundation is tremendously excited about this year’s event, which will have more golfers, contests and prizes,” Ruedt said. “We hope that Elmbrook alumni living in the area will join us, both for a great day of golf and the chance to reconnect with former classmates.”
The cost per golfer is $125. The fee includes 18 holes, gift pack, range access, drink tickets, eligibility for door prizes, lunch served by Saloon on Calhoun, dinner served by Jake’s, and silent and live auctions. A dinner-and-auctions package is available for $40.

Silent auction items are still being accepted. Sponsorships are available, too, starting at $250.

The EEF has awarded more than $1 million in scholarships and grants. Its mission focuses not only on funding higher education for students, but on supporting projects that improve the overall educational quality of Elmbrook schools.
“We have a great event planned, with everything aimed at hitting a hole-in-one for local education,” Ruedt said. “Everyone is welcome to join in, regardless of handicap or golf skill level. To use one of the EEF’s core beliefs, learning and improving skills are lifelong experiences!”
