TJ Maxx Theft Suspect At Large

BROOKFIELD, WI — Brookfield police are asking for the public's help in identifying a retail theft suspect accused in two TJ Maxx thefts.

According to police, on July 11, 2017, an older black male, wearing a grey and white shirt, a white baseball hat and dark pants, took numerous items from TJ Maxx without consent.

The suspect placed several items of clothing, men's fragrances, and bedding into a shopping cart.
The suspect exited the store with the stolen merchandise and fled in an older model, burgundy, Ford Taurus.

The suspect is believed to be the same person in an attempted theft at the TJ Maxx in Wauwatosa on Friday, July 14, 2017, per loss prevention.
