Guest Spit on Deputy after Brookfield Drinking Party Busted, Charges Say
Felony charges were filed against a 21-year-old party host who was out on bail for drug charges and a 24-year-old man authorities say spit on a deputy.

A 21-year-old Brookfield man hosted a drinking party at his parent’s home while out on bond for drug charges, prosecutors allege.
Brookfield police broke up the party about 2 a.m. Saturday in the 18100 block of Bolter Lane, handcuffing party guests during the investigation with help from a Waukesha County sheriff's deputy.
That deputy said a 24-year-old party guest spit on her while getting placed in the back of a squad for obstructing officers.

Brookfield police officers were called to Moon’s parent’s home in the 18100 block of Bolter Lane about 2 a.m. after neighbors reported a loud and possible underage drinking party going on. When officers arrived, they saw several people inside the house and then the lights were shut off.
Officers could still see people in the home along with numerous liquor bottles on a table. They were able to eventually contact Moon, who appeared highly intoxicated and said he had just woken up.
After Moon came outside to talk, officers checked his identification and learned he was out on bond for drug charges and placed him under arrest.
Moon then allowed officers to go inside the home and escort the numerous people inside out of the house.
Officers handcuffed them and had them sit on the ground. But Cummings tried to move his hands to the front of his body.
Officers told Cummings to stop, but he got his hands to the front and was taken to the ground. Officers were able to get his hands behind his back once again, but Cummings began to fidget in order to move his hands to the front of his body yet again.
Officers then decided to take Cummings to the Waukesha County Jail and a Waukesha County sheriff’s deputy helping at the scene took him and placed Cummings in the back of her squad car. While buckling him in, Cummings decided to spit on the deputy.
Both Cummings and Moon were freed on signature bonds while awaiting trial.
