Wisconsin Schools No. 1 In This US Ranking According To New Study
Wisconsin was one of eight U.S. states that had "low spending and strong school systems," according to the new study.
MILWAUKEE, WI — When it comes to ACT scores, Wisconsin students are number one, while also having one of the overall best school systems in America, according to a new report from personal finance website WalletHub.
Wisconsin students had an average SAT score of 1291 in 2018.
Standout scores in both quality and safety buoyed the Badger State's overall rankings. Although Wisconsin ranked in the top ten for School Quality, schools in Wisconsin came in a mediocre 27th when it comes to school safety.

School systems across America were ranked across 29 measures of quality and safety.
Wallet Hub compared school spending with achievement results and determined that Wisconsin was one of eight U.S. states that had "low spending and strong school systems."
