On September 7, 2013, United Way of Racine County is hosting a Day of Caring in conjunction with our Annual Campaign Kickoff. The Day of Caring is one-day opportunity for volunteers to work on much-needed projects throughout the county. Day of Caring was established to promote the spirit and value of volunteerism, increase awareness of community needs and demonstrate how people working together for the common good can accomplish great tasks.
United Way of Racine County is now accepting applications
from agencies seeking volunteers for Day of Caring, (you do not need to be an United Way partner provider to participate). Volunteer hours will run from 9:30 am – 1:00 pm. If your organization would like to utilize volunteer services during this event you must click on the link above and complete the agency application. Deadline for submitting applications is May 15, 2013. Agencies will be notified of participation approval within three weeks of application submission.
