Milwaukee public relations firm seeks candidate for $1,000 scholarship and paid summer internship

Milwaukee – Mueller Communications, Inc. (MCI) today announced it is offering a $1,000 scholarship and summer internship in the name of the late Milwaukee PR legend, Ben Barkin. 

The 2013 Ben Barkin Scholarship Program will provide a $1,000 scholarship and paid summer internship to a full-time Wisconsin student entering his or her senior year in the fall of 2013.

This scholarship program is seeking students who have demonstrated academic and professional achievement as well as an interest in learning more about the communications and public relations fields.

During the summer internship, the selected intern will have the opportunity to experience different areas of the firm’s expertise, such as public affairs, media relations, market research, crisis and corporate communications, community relations, business-to-business marketing, and graphic and Web design.
