The Regional Scholastic Writing Award Results Are In!
The following students won a Southeast Wisconsin Scholastic Writing Region award:
Jacqueline Johnson, The Prairie School, a Gold Key for her Poetry entry. Her teacher is Jennifer Cobb.

Sierra Kramer, Case High School, an Honorable Mention for her poetry entry. Her teacher is Emily Grow.
Jacqueline's Gold Key winning entry is in New York City for national adjudication. Both students and their teachers will be recognized at the regional awards celebration on March 23rd, at Gateway Technical College Madgragrano Auditorium in Kenosha.

All entries were judged by writers and teachers across the United States such as the Racine, Kenosha, and Madison Poet Laureates, an assistant writer from Thunder Bay Pictures, a graphic novelist, and many other writers and writing teachers.
National Winners will be announced on March 15th.
