Peace Learning Circles, Inc. has partnered with Mentor Kenosha and Racine from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside’s Center for Community Partnerships to present a screening of the movie “Bully” at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. April 20 at the SC Johnson Golden Rondelle Theater, 1525 Howe St.
The movie screenings of "Bully" will be followed by a question and answer session that will include a panel of experts answering questions and offering solutions. A third showing, and question and answer session will be held at 1 p.m. April 26 at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Cinema 900 Wood Road, Kenosha.

An optional mini-conference, Bullying Solutions: Creating a Culture of Acceptance will take place immediately following the movie and panel discussion and will focus on solutions for bullying. Stan Davis, educator and author of "Schools Where Everyone Belongs: Practical Strategies to Reduce Bullying" and "Empowering Bystanders in Bullying Prevention" will be the keynote speaker. Following the keynote speaker and dinner, there will be five break-out sessions lead by expert presenters that focus on a number of special topics and narrowing it further to specific populations and age groups. Additional resources will be provided.
