Cancer is Like Snow in Summer

When L. Marie Shadwick was told she had breast cancer, it was like watching snow fall in the Summer – it was completely unexpected. However, she considers herself a recovering cancer patient; not just a survivor because she can never go back to the life she once had. She chooses certain foods and a healthier lifestyle because she chooses life.

Her book is sharing of her choices, passion and recipes. In addition, she talks about how she went about changing her eating habits.(She will talk about good and better alternatives, where to purchase these items and their average prices. Free samples highlighting some of the book’s recipes will be served during the presentation. Autographed books will also be available for purchase at a discounted rate.)
Ms. Chadwick has been cancer- free for over three years. She attributes her success to living by 90/10 rule – eating the proper diet 90% of the time, spending the remaining 10% to splurge during special occasions.
