"Save-a-Life Saturday" is a way to recognize shooting victim U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) and promote wider knowledge of CPR and first aid in the general population.Β The training, provided by the American Red Cross,Β takes 45 minutes to an hour and includes hands-only CPR, controlling external bleeding and how to help a person who is in shock.Β Please register in advance, either by phone or on-line.Β Thank you!Β (Also see listing for 1:00 p.m. class, this same date.)
