Is your “green thumb” ready to give gardening a go this year? Do you need a great gardening space and mentoring? The Eco-Justice Center is offering a gardening workshop on Saturday, April 13th from 1-3 pm. to help beginner gardeners learn about square foot, “container” gardening, and how to select a site, tools, and plants for your garden.
Six individuals, families, or friends will also have the chance to rent one of the raised, square foot garden plots at the Eco-Justice Center. Those who choose to garden at the Eco-Justice Center will be provided with the plants, seeds, water, tools, and mentoring for their 20 Sq. ft gardens. Call 262-681-8527 to register for the workshop ($5) and/or to reserve a garden plot ($35). Those who garden through the growing season and then prepare their bed for the winter will get a $10 refund!
