Graduating to a Pay Gap

DUKES V WAL-MART PLAINTIFF TO SPEAK, THE INVISIBLE WAR TO
BE SHOWN, CO-AUTHOR OF GRADUATING TO A PAY GAP TO SPEAK – OPEN TO PUBLIC:

Edith Arana, a plaintiff in the Dukes v Wal-Mart
discrimination case, and Jamie Dolkas, her attorney, will speak at 7:30 p.m. on
Friday, April 26, at the Racine Marriott, 7111 W. Washington Ave., Racine,
WI. 

Arana represents 90,000 female employees who claim they
have been denied equal promotion and pay opportunities; Dolkas is from Equal
Rights Advocates (ERA), which is dedicated to advancing equal opportunity for
women and girls through impact litigation and advocacy.  Both are from San Francisco.

This presentation will be followed by a screening of the
Academy-Award nominated documentary The
Invisible War, which focuses on sexual assault and harassment of women in
the U.S. Military.

Both of these events are open to the public for free; reservations

At noon on Saturday, April 27, senior AAUW researcher and
co-author of Graduating to a Pay Gap
Chrisianne Corbett will speak.  The price

All three events are part of the American Association of
University Women (AAUW) – Wisconsin state convention which is focused on pay
equity.
