The Racine Public Library Foundation exists, in part, to raise funds to sustain the future growth and services of the public library. This latest event is a unique one -- a chance for 80 people to learn the ins and outs of single-malt whisky, including the chance to taste some of the best that's made. The Foundation organizers thought this event would be a good way to introduce a new group of people to the important work of the Foundation. A $40 donation to the Foundation is requested for this event. Please register in advance at the Ivanhoe Pub & Eatery, or at the Public Library circulation desk, 75 Seventh St., Racine.
