On Monday, May 6 the Prairie Primary School will transform into a world of history, adventure, story, action, architecture, world cultures, economics, and more. Students and teachers have committed months of research, building and planning in preparation for the 6th annual “Museum in Progress”, a concept that has gained popularity around the nation.
This year’s theme, “Window to the World”, will open its doors to other schools, students, and community members on Wednesday, May 8. Student docents will lead visitors through the entire Primary School showcasing student work, models, artifacts and hands-on exhibits. Through this unique learning model, students become teachers and initiators of inquiry based learning.
