The Root River Paddle Challenge - Caledonia

The Root River Paddle Challenge:  -


This is not a race but a leisure activity open to families, athletes, individuals, team building for companies , etc.


The Root River provides a diverse set of paddling conditions as it winds its way through Caledonia in Racine County. Depending upon water levels and sections paddled you can get everything from quiet lake paddling to fast rapids in an environment that ranges from scenic rural woodlands to parks and wetlands.

Pre Registration starts at 8:00 AM - Racine's Famous  Kringle and Coffee will be available. First launch Starting at 9:00 am.

Starting at Linwood Park, 5900 5 Mile Road - Franksville, Town of Caledonia and ending at the Horlick Dam. We will have a shuttle bus on site to transport participants back to Linwood Park for lunch.
