Walden III Reunion

Walden III Alumni Celebrate 40+ Years 

with Summer Events

Walden III School, 1012 Center Street, was founded in 1972 around the belief that students should be a part of the decisions that affect them at school. The school's mission is to be student-centered and staff-driven and to create life-long learners. The school motto, "In the Process of Discovery" is evident in everyday school life as students and staff continue to set benchmarks for the entire Racine Unified School District with high graduation rates and test scores. Walden III School serves children in grades 6 through 12, and has become a leader in the community in its "green" efforts.

Dr. Jackson Parker, founder of Walden III School said, "Walden III has become a source of pride and reputation in the community. The Green School is a wonderful example of what is possible".

August 23 through August 25, students, alumni, staff, family and friends will celebrate Walden's rich history and continued success at events throughout the Racine community, culminating in an all-school reunion at the Reefpoint Brew House.  

The events include:

Friday, August 23rd Icebreaker -Select Downtown Racine nightclubs

Mixers (cocktails & appetizers), for Staff, former Staff and Alumni; 7 pm

Saturday, August 24th Reunion Celebration,

5 - 11 pm at the Reefpoint Brew House 1 Christopher Columbus Parkway, Racine. 

Sunday, August 25th 10 am - ? Beach Party for Walden Families

North Beach. Come and go as you please (no agenda. )Reunion After-Party Celebrations continue at various Racine locations with a beach party for families on Sunday. North Beach.
