Oh Dennis' Restaurant Owner Dies Of A Heart Attack

"He made everybody in the restaurant feel like they were family when he made his rounds," said Jody Tarwid, DeMark's daughter and a 46-year-old Racine hairstylist.

restaurant owner, Dennis DeMark, died suddenly on Saturday at the restaurant.

He died of a heart attack. DeMark was 71-years-old. He was best known as the "rib man" and was well respected for his culinary prowess.

β€œHe made everybody in the restaurant feel like they were family when he made his rounds,” said Jody Tarwid, DeMark’s daughter and a 46-year-old Racine hairstylist. β€œHe had a great smile and he laughed from the belly up. He had a real hearty laugh.”

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012, at the Maresh-Mereidth & Acklam Funeral Home, 803 Main St., with Deacon Russell Missureli officiating. A private interment will be held. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from noon until time of service at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home
