Police Searching for Three Armed Robbery Suspects in Racine

According to Racine Police, three suspects are accused in an armed robbery late Wednesday at a candy store.

RACINE -- Police are looking for three suspects accused in an armed robbery at a candy store late Wednesday evening.

On Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at 8:49pm, officers responded to Your Mini Sweet Shop, 1132 S. Memorial Dr., reference an armed robbery. Upon their arrival, the suspects were gone.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the three suspects entered the store and one of the suspects produced a handgun, and ordered the clerk to hand over money. The suspects left with the clerk's wallet, clerk's money clip, an undetermined amount of cash from the register, as well as numerous items of merchandise from the store.

There were no injuries reported in the robbery.
