Racine Native Opens Car Dealership In Caledonia

A Racine native, driven by his love for cars, recently opened his own auto dealership and repair shop in Caledonia.  

Paul Sanchez, who opened the doors to Righteous Autos at 6142 Douglas Ave. at the beginning of July, came up with the name through his Christian beliefs. 

"I am trying to give people reliable cars, saying I back that up," Sanchez said. "It's in me to try to help people. I'm in my passion of work and hoping I can help people too." 

Sanchez has loved cars since he was a kid. 

"I love driving them and figuring out what is wrong with them. Everything about a car, I love them," Sanchez said.

The business sells used vehicles and offers auto repair services. Sanchez's partner has been doing auto repairs for 15 years, he said. Sanchez has about 20 cars on his lot at the moment, including a 1963 Cadillac DeVille, his favorite car. 

"Any kind of Deville. I like the Sevilles and STSs, but I love the DeVille," he said.  

Righteous Autos offers good credit, bad credit and first-time buyer financing options. It also offers a range of warranty options, depending on the vehicle.

The dealership is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The dealership is closed on Sunday.
