For thousands of students in the Racine Unified School District, school is in session Friday.
However, a number of other school districts are closed including several in Milwaukee and Jefferson counties. Yesterday, over 400 teachers in the Racine Unified School District called in sick in protest of Gov. Scott Walker's budget repair bill.
The AFL-CIO is hosting a rally in Madison today at noon. Meanwhile a "Stand With Scott Walker Rally," will be held from noon to 3:00pm Saturday at the State Capitol.
