RUSD Hosts Two Meetings on Upcoming Referendum
Residents will decide on three referendums April 5.

Residents will have two more opportunities to learn about the Racine Unified School Districtβs upcoming referendum this week.
A Linking and Listening session, hosted by the RUSD Board of Educationβs Communication Committee, is scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday at Knapp Elementary School, 2701 17th St. in Racine.
On Tuesday, an informational meeting at the Golden Rondelle Theater, 1525 Howe St., starts at 5:30 p.m. RUSD administrators and School Board members will present an overview of the referendum and answer questions at both sessions.

District officials have not yet rescheduled a Linking and Listening session at Schulte Elementary School, 8515 Westminster Drive, Sturtevant, according to RUSD spokesperson Stacy Tapp. That program was canceled Feb. 17 in the wake of a sick-out by teachers and staff that resulted in the cancellation of classes.
Another community meeting on the referendum is tentatively set for March 31 at a location to be announced, Tapp said.
