Peter Novak, a fifth generation dairy farmer, operates the Foremost Farm Dist, 10820 Hwy K. The barn is the property’s third barn. The first barn was destroyed when a tornado ripped through the area, and the second barn was destroyed while being built. The third barn, which still stands today, was built in the late 1940. Peter began helping on the farm when he was 6. When I asked him what his favorite thing about growing up on a farm was, he told me “driving the tractor.”
