Topper's Bar gets New Owner and New Name

Greg Wargo, who bought the bar formely known as , will rename the tavern Northside Saloon.

The Village Board approved the liquor license on Monday.

While many of his customers will likely call the tavern Toppers, a new sign will be forthcoming sometime this spring.

Wargo said he decided to change the name since he was already getting a liquor license as a new owner.

"So we just decided to change the name at the same time," he said.
