Two Caledonia Businesses Fail Tobacco Compliance Checks

CALEDONIA -- Two local businesses sold tobacco to minors after failing tobacco compliance checks conducted by the Caledonia police department.

Violations occurred at the following locations: South Hills Country Club sold cigarettes to a juvenile. Pilot Travel Center 324 sold a nicotine product that is to be used in an “E-Cigarette” to a juvenile.

The employee who sold the cigarettes or nicotine product received a municipal citation. The citation was for the Sale of a Tobacco Product to an Underage Person or Sale of a Nicotine Product to an Underage Person. The citation fine amount is $218.50.
