Undercover Investigators Pose As Customers to Break Up Prostitution Operation

Investigators learned that at least two individuals were involved in running a prostitution business out of a home in Union Grove.

RACINE COUNTY -- Undercover investigators with the Racine County Sheriff's office posed as customers in order to break up a prostitution operation in Union Grove.

In late September of 2016, The Racine County Sheriff’s Office was made aware of a potential prostitution operation in the Village of Union Grove. Investigators learned that at least two individuals were involved in the operation which was being run out of a local residence.

Based on the initial complaint investigators were able to identify two suspects and the residence in question. On October 9, undercover investigators were able to initiate a meeting at the residence posing as potential customers and subsequently arrested two individuals.

The suspects identified as Adena M. Sparks, age 28, and Eugenia D. Nance, age 27, were taken into custody and are being held at the Racine County jail on numerous felony and misdemeanor charges.

The investigation into this matter is ongoing; there is no additional information available.
