
Six new directing principals were introduced Monday (July 18) at the Racine Unified School District Board of Education meeting. The principals, who are starting this month are:
- Rich Wytonick, Giese Elementary, replacing Anne Swanson, who retired. He was formerly an inclusion teacher at Giese.
- Bryan Terry, Julian Thomas Elementary, replacing Staci Kimmons, who left the district. He was formerly with Milwaukee Public Schools.
- Isaac Kirkwood, Mitchell Elementary, replacing Kevin McCormick, who was named Supervisor of Student Achievement and School Improvement. He was previously associate principal at Gilmore Middle School.
- Rebecca Zahn, Schulte Elementary, replacing Shelley Geiselman Kritek, who retired. She was previously an assistant principal at Case High School.
- Amber Lamers, Roosevelt Elementary, replacing Jeffrey Rasmussen, who retired. She was previously an assistant principal at Mitchell Middle School.
- Doug Clum, Jerstad Agerholm Middle, replacing Cheri Kulland, who was named Supervisor of Student Achievement and School Improvement β Secondary. He was previously principal at Bull Fine Arts Elementary.
RUSD officials are in the process of filling two remaining principal vacancies this month. They are at Bull Fine Arts Elementary and Starbuck Middle School.
