• Giving children a place to sleep (ozaukeepress.com) — Families in Cedarburg who lack proper beds for their children can now apply to a new Ozaukee County chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace, which just built its first eight beds and will deliver them this week. Organizers plan monthly builds in Grafton through fall and are stockpiling new, handcrafted twin beds so Cedarburg kids ages 3 to 17 can get one quickly when families reach out.

• Man accused of selling meth in Port pleads to felonies (ozaukeepress.com) — Residents in Cedarburg and nearby Port Washington may want to know that a man accused of selling meth in Port has pleaded no contest to two felony drug charges, with sentencing set for November. • KML caps inspiring week by taking 3rd at Sprawl (gmtoday.com) — Cedarburg gets two notable mentions in this volleyball and community story: a local family recovering from an explosion at their Cedarburg property received more than $2,300 in support, and the Cedarburg team was swept by Kettle Moraine Lutheran at the Lynn LaPorte Sprawl.
