• This Wisconsin Historic Village Lets Visitors Step Inside Buildings Preserved From Another Era (travelmag.com) — Old World Wisconsin in Eagle is marking its 50th year with a new Welcome Center, easier tram access, and a full slate of fall farm and harvest activities across 600 acres. Visitors from Eagle and nearby can plan a full-day outing exploring historic farms, Crossroads Village, hands-on crafts, and Scandinavian homesteads, with plenty of tips for pacing the visit comfortably.
• Football: Undefeated Panthers steamroll Montello on homecoming (gazettextra.com) — Palmyra-Eagle's undefeated Panthers football team kept its perfect season alive with a 63-22 homecoming rout of Montello, powered by seven combined touchdowns from juniors Jake Rohda and Sebastian Brook. Eagle-area fans now look ahead to Saturday's road test at Delafield St. John's Northwestern Academies, where the Panthers will try to stay atop the Southeast Conference standings.
