• Gov. Tony Evers appoints two new Milwaukee County judges (jsonline.com) — A Fox Point resident, attorney Jay Pucek, has been appointed by Gov. Tony Evers to serve as a Milwaukee County Circuit Court judge, giving the village a direct connection to the county bench. Pucek, a former prosecutor, public defender, and police officer, will fill Branch 34, while fellow appointee Malinda Eskra will serve in Branch 9, handling civil and criminal cases that affect residents across the region.
