• 'It was very shocking' Fox Point residents wake up to toppled decades-old trees after overnight storms (tmj4.com) — Fox Point residents along North Beach Drive woke up Friday to decades-old trees uprooted by powerful overnight storms, with some narrowly missing homes and vehicles. Cleanup crews spent much of the day clearing toppled trees from yards, while neighbors in nearby Bayside and the Lynden Sculpture Garden also reported significant tree damage but no major injuries.
• Glendale police chase Fox Point crash; baby hurt, man charged (fox6now.com) — A high-speed police chase that began in Glendale ended with a crash at Boyd Way and Lake Drive in Fox Point, injuring a 1-year-old child found bleeding in the back seat. Prosecutors say the driver, a Kenosha man wanted on a felony warrant, ran from the wreck but was arrested nearby and now faces multiple felony and child endangerment charges.
