On Thursday, Shrinidhi Kalluru, Andrew Keene, Roman Hoffmann and Matthew Bootsma won first place in the Finance and Investment Challenge Bowl, sponsored by Asset Builders of America and BMO-Harris.
The Finance and Investment Challenge Bowl is a study program for high school students, teaching a wide range of financial literacy topics. The FICB culminates in a live, college-bowl tournament where teams compete to
determine a regional champion.
The first and second-place teams in each region earn the right to advance to the statewide final round and we offer attractive incentives for students to participate and excel. The FICB aligns with statewide learning standards in economics and personal finance.
The team competed against 12 area high school teams. They were victorious in the Championship Round beating Pius with a score of 285-15.
Nicolet will compete at the State Level against 12 other high school teams from around the state on May 8.
Congratulations to Shrinidhi, Andrew, Roman, Matthew, and the Business Department on this awesome win!
