History was made on Sunday, February 24th when two Caledonia brothers won 1st and runner-up places in the A finals at the Wisconsin BCA Pool League tournament held at the Olympic Resort in Oconomowoc. Corey Bloemers was undefeated all the way up to the hot seat where he waited to see who his opponent would be in the final play off for the championship. Meanwhile, his brother, Tim Bloemers, was fighting his way to the play offs after being knocked down to the loser rank. He then also went undefeated to the play off spot against his brother. Corey beat Tim in a race to win 5 games. This is the first time in the history of the tournament that two brothers have played against each other for 1st place, as well as the first time two brothers have gone all the way through the line up of other players without playing each other until the championship match.
