Photos: Bayside Celebrates Independence Day in Full Color and Spirit

Bayside residents paraded around the neighborhood in red, white and blue and gathered for an ice cream social fourth of July morning.

Bayside residents rang in the annual July 4th celebration Wednesday morning despite soaring tempretures.  More than 100 people marched down Ellsworth Lane showing off patriotic costumes.

After the parade, the crowd gathered for ice cream, courtesy of Cold Stone, while handed out cold water to keep people hydrated in the blistering heat.

Cold Stone certificates were given to costume contest winners in age groups six and under and seven to 12years of age, as well as best dog.
