Hola Patch!

Hello.  My name is Steve, and I am a coffee addict.

My journey in the coffee world has been a twisty, but fun one.  When I was 16, I lived in Oconomowoc and would stop at the Stone Creek Coffee location there every morning before I went to school.  One morning, I was a bit short on cash and after digging through the seat cushions of my Ford Tempo and finding nothing, I decided I would try and sweet talk the cute barista behind the counter into a free cup of coffee.  She politely rejected my flirting and told me that I could have a free cup if I filled out an application.  Done.

Here I am, 12 years later.  Officially, I’m the Vice President and Green Coffee Buyer for Stone Creek Coffee.  Unofficially, I just like to think of myself as a Coffee Guy.  I’ve been a barista, manager, roaster, driver, technician and sales guy.  I’ve traveled the world and visited coffee farms on three continents in search of the best coffees and most unique stories out there…not to mention I’ve learned a little bit about coffee along the way.
