USM Ice Hockey Coach is Cancer Free
Cal Roadhouse, the ice hockey coach at University School, sent a letter saying his cancer treatment was successful and thanking everyone for their support.

Cal Roadhouse, the boys varsity ice hockey coach at University School, sent the following letter to the USM hockey community on Friday:
I wanted to let you know that I had a scan on Thursday, and found that I am cancer free. Although the months of treatment were difficult, the results are good and clearly worth it.
My wife, Gina, and our children Matt, Heather, and Corey, and I want to thank all of you for your support, your meals, your advice, and your well-wishes throughout the hockey season. Your help meant a great deal to all of us. We realize how important your friendship is, and we value it immensely.

I especially want to thank the USM hockey coaches, the team captains, and the members of all the USM hockey teams for their efforts during the season. You all carried on, performed well on and off the ice, and gave me a chance to focus on something beyond my problems. Although I could not always be with you this past season, I felt like I was there and a part of something that is good and enduring. I appreciate all you did.
I am looking forward to returning to my coaching duties this coming winter and to another great year for USM hockey.
