The recent 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center reminds us all too clearly that regardless of where we live, life can be unpredictable and too often, frightening.
Living in fear is not an experience limited to the 21st century.Fear has been a part of history since the beginning of time. So where do we go to escape the fear that sometimes feels inescapable? Restore trust while living in a world that feels increasingly unstable? Where can we find comfort, hope, and even peace?
It is this timeless fear that is being explored in a new series called, Delivered: God Rescues, God Provides, God Leads. In it, we examine fear through the story contained in the Biblical book of Exodus.
The series runs September 13-November 22 and includes:
·Worship on Sunday mornings at 10AM
·In person Bible discussion Wednesday mornings at 10AM
·Daily meditations, Monday-Thursday on Facebook and Instagram
“Fear is a tremendous driving force in life,” says Rev. Dr. Martin Hall, Sr. Paster of North Shore Congregational Church in Fox Point. Delivered looks at where life can leave us feeling trapped and holds us back, wondering in whom or what can we place our trust.
