Hotel Valencia Santana Row now has a brand new Executive Chef, as Chef Ocean Orssten has recently been promoted to head fresh, locally-sourced farm-to-table eatery, Citrus Restaurant.
Chef Orssten creates dishes with local and sustainable products and he likes to refer to his food as “modern global cuisine.” Passionate about cooking, he believes food should make the soul happy. He began as Hotel Valencia’s Sous Chef in 2011 then was promoted to Chef de Cuisine in 2013. Ocean has proven his skills as a mentor and leader at Citrus Restaurant.
