The Glendale Senior Citizens' Club will watch "The Descendants" in the clubroom on the lower level. In the film George Clooney plays a lawyer and the father of daughters, ages 10 and 17. While handling the sale of family real estate in Hawaii, he discovers that his now-terminal wife, in a coma after a boating accident, was having an affair. The film received five Academy Award nominations and two Golden Globe awards (Best Picture and Best Actor--Drama). Nonmembers are always welcome at club events.
