It’s Maple Sugar Time!

Saturday March 9 from 10:00 –12:00 PM and 1:00 -3:00PM

The month is March, here comes the melting snow, muddy shoes and MAPLE SUGAR!  Bring your big boots and sweet tooth, and we’ll do the rest!  Join your Audubon Teachers as we travel through the stages of making maple syrup, from tapping trees to boiling sap and eating pickles and pancakes.  We will begin inside with a story about the serendipitous discovery of maple syrup, followed by a sensational slide show all about the magic of maple sugar.  Then it’s outside as we visit the Schlitz Sugarbush and Evaporator!  We’ll top it all off with REAL maple syrup over silver dollar pancakes!
