Nicolet Raises Awareness About Eating Disorders by Presenting Award-Winning Musical

Nicolet High School is raising awareness about eating disorders, body image, mental health, and the importance of stress management by presenting Normal The Musical May 10-12.


Normal The Musical, a 75-minute rock musical based on Yvonne Adrian's true story about her daughter's 5-year battle with anorexia, was produced in 2005 in New York City where it won the Jonathan Larson Award. 


All performances of Normal The Musical are free and open to the public. Each performance will include discussions facilitated by Sandy Blaies, the Clinical Director of the Eating Disorders unit at Aurora Psychiatric Hospital, her staff, and people in recovery.
