Sky Dance of the American Woodcock

Wednesday, April 3, from 7:00 – 8:30 pm

Join us on an evening search for one of our most interesting birds—the American Woodcock.  We’ll spend a brief time indoors learning about the woodcock’s unique survival adaptations and its fantastic courtship flight.  Then we’ll head outside hoping to catch the male woodcock performing its evening “sky dance.” Please dress for the weather - trails are often wet in spring. In case of heavy rain the program will be cancelled.
