Retired teacher Buzz Althoen will discuss and show pictures of his trip to Australia to see a total eclipse of the sun from a hot air balloon on November 14. He also went to the Great Barrier Reef, one of the seven wonders of the world, saw many of the unusual animals found in Australia, and learned firsthand about the Aboriginal culture, one of the oldest in the world. Cake and ice cream follows the presentation, which will be in the clubroom on the lower level of the school. Nonmembers are always welcome at club events.
