Fire Breaks Out at Glendale Nursing Home; Nobody Hurt
Fire officials say the fire was under control by 10 a.m. Tuesday, cause and damage extent will be determined.

GLENDALE -- Nobody was hurt after a fire was reported Tuesday morning at the Golden Living Center, a 97-bed nursing home center located in Glendale.
The North Shore Fire department responded to the center on 1300 West Silver Spring Dr. Tuesday morning, and by 10 a.m. the fire was under control, according to North Shore Fire officials.

According to the department, the fire happened on the second floor of the building.

According to a report from FOX 6 on Tuesday morning, authorities say the call initially came in as an automatic fire alarm. Shortly after, the facility called 911 to report smoke.
