Fox Point-Bayside School District to Host Referendum Meetings
Community Information Meetings in Advance of April 2022 Facilities Referendum
Fox Point-Bayside School District will host three community-wide information meetings for district residents to learn more about the referendum that addresses critical facility needs at Bayside Middle and Stormonth Elementary Schools.
For more than two years, the District has been exploring options to address critical facility needs identified at both Bayside Middle School (built in 1953) and Stormonth Elementary School (built in 1935). Major challenges identified include significantly aging building infrastructure and systems; safety, security, and accessibility; and outdated, inflexible learning environments.
At the informational meetings, residents can learn about the proposed plan, see the schools first-hand and ask questions about the facilities plan in advance of the vote on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 during the Spring General Election.
