Fox Point Native on World Stage

Rabbi Evan Moffic, a native of Fox Point and a graduate of Nicolet High School, is working to improve civic dialogue on the world stage.

An article published by the Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle titled "From Fox Point to Fox News," highlights his appearances on Fox News, writings for Huffington Post and his current role at Congregation Solel in Highland Park, Illinois.

“Part of my job as a rabbi is to use Jewish wisdom to improve civic dialogue and really add to the larger community,” Moffic said in an interview with the Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle. He said that with so much intermarriage, there’s “a need for greater education about one another’s faiths.”

And Moffic published his latest book in February, 2016, “What Every Christian Needs to Know About the Jewishness of Jesus: A New Way of Seeing the Most Influential Rabbi in History.”
