Fox Point Teen Advances to USA Diving Junior Zone Championships

Callie Head of Fox Point will participate in the USA Diving Summer Junior Zone C Championships in Columbia, MO on July 7-10.

Head won the 10-meter platform event last weekend at the Region 5 Championships at the Schroeder YMCA with a 353.25 score. She was second in the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard, and advanced to the Zone C competition in all three events.

Region 5 includes Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri. The Zone C event brings in Region 6, including Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado and Wyoming.

Head will be a junior at Nicolet High School this fall. Last year she finished second in the WIAA Division 1 diving competition.
