Girl Scouts Dance With Dads at Nicolet Friday Night

The first annual Girl Scout Father Daughter Dance hosted more than 160 girls and their fathers.

In an effort to increase interaction between local girl scout troops, a father-daughter dance was held at Friday night, providing an evening out with their adult male role models, in most cases their fathers. While the vast majority of the funds collected offset the costs of the dance, such as the site rental, DJ, photographer, supplies, this was also a fundraiser for Bayside Troop 1163. This troop plans to travel to the rainforest, ruins, and phosphorescent bay in Puerto Rico next year.

Close to 160 girls registered for the event.  The cost was $20 per family and included two hours of fun, food and dancing, with one professional photo sitting, and a parting gift.
