My Son has a 2 1/2 year old Son Connor. Joey makes certain that Connor receives the Fatherly love that he deserves. Joey works very hard as a Manager for Marsh Grocery he puts in an incredible amount of hours but doesn't miss an event or an opportunity to spend quality time with Connor & his Wife Belinda. Joey has already instilled a love of music in Connor and a confidence that every young man would wish for. Joey reads to Connor, helps him recite his ABC's, his numbers, and his wonderful sense of humor shines through as he is already the consummate entertainer. Joey’s perfect balance of Love, faith, and discipline that he provides every day to Connor is ordinary in Joey’s eyes but extraordinary for me to witness. I am comforted in knowing that my Grandson will have his Father there to guide him and lead him down the path that is less traveled these days. Even when Joey is exhausted from a tough day at work he never complains as he sits and allows Connor to tell him about his exciting day. Connor is blessed to have such wonderful parents and on this Fathers Day I want my Son Joey to know that I am so proud of him and wish I could have been as wonderful a Father to him when he was growing up. Joey is my candidate for Father of the year every year. My Father In-Law, John Jeffers lives in Oak Ridge TN and has been better to me than any parent that I had in life. John is a man that is grounded. He has such a solid moral compass and lives it every day. John wants for nothing and enjoys time with his Family. His wife of 52 years Bev, his daughter Molly, Sons, Jim & Scott have all been blessed to have had him all of their lives. John loves his Wife, children, grandchildren, & great-grandson. John is kind, generous, thoughtful, an excellent listener, unobtrusive but always there when you need him. He is certainly my idol even though he would tell me to aim higher. He is exactly what I hope to someday become. John was diagnosed 10 years ago with PLS (Primary lateral sclerosis) a neuromuscular disease that has ravaged his body and recently caused him to begin using a walker. John’s strong faith and Christian beliefs have provided a comfort to us all when we should be providing that comfort to him. John is the type of guy that can say so much with just a nod, a wonderful grin, or a hug. John has always been a man of few words and even now that his voice has been silenced by this disease we all know without a doubt he is still the strong leader of our family. He is a wonderful Man, and a Wonderful Father. I am doubly blessed to have two such wonderful father figures in my life. Joe Russell
