Nicolet High School students and former students get creative on the popular video sharing site. Another user chronicles a journey to the Holy Land.

Thanks to smart phones and the cultural phenomenon of YouTube, everyone is a video director and producer. And with a little digging, you can craft an entertaining look at your community as residents and visitors see it.

Take a few minutes to browse these Fox Point and Bayside related videos uploaded over the last few weeks.

Those wacky, creative kids at Nicolet High School did something only high school kids can do — film a spoof of Hamlet based on the TV show Arrested Development, as a senior project for Advanced Placement English.

Former Nicolet students also are active. The Class of 2002 delivered a Save the Date video for its 10-year reunion with a creative Google search production.

User pcmanke uploaded a sequence of videos chronicling a 10-day trip to Jerusalem; on Day 3 St. Matthew’s in Wauwatosa and Fox Point Lutheran Church visit the old city. See more at his channel.

The Fox Point Lutheran Church is featured back home by user Kevin Bailey. The choir performs ā€œJesus is a Rock in a Weary Land.ā€

Finally, Chris Kegel of Wheel & Sprocket led the third annual Ride of Silence from the bicycle shop’s Fox Point location. The ride honors cyclists who were involved in a crash and raises awareness of cyclists on the road. User theld63 interviewed Kegel about the ride.
