July 4th Vehicle Parade Planned For Bayside
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's Independence Day celebration will include a new format.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s 4th of July celebration will include a new format, a vehicle parade in lieu of the traditional walking format.

- Vehicles should line up at Bayside Middle School starting at 8:45 am on July 4.
- Please use the Standish Place entrance to line up for the parade.
- The parade route will head north out of the Middle School parking lot onto Ellsworth Lane.
- To participate in the vehicle parade, please register using Access Bayside.
- The parade will travel through various neighborhoods in the Village, while avoiding major roads. See map.
- The anticipated length of the parade is 40 minutes.
- There will be a contest for the best decorated vehicle.
- Photographs will be taken of registered parade vehicles and will be included in a follow-up Survey Monkey survey the week of July 6.
- We ask residents to not exit cars before, during, or after the parade to maintain social distancing.
- If your home is on the parade route, we encourage you to decorate your front yard.
- No street parking is allowed on the parade route.
This parade format will allow for public participation while maintaining social distancing. To participate in the vehicle parade, please register using Access Bayside.
